Baed on the model DRV8874 PSpice Transient Simulation (Rev. A):

- The device configuration: PMODE = 0 and IMODE = 0;
- Load connected between OUT 1 and OUT 2 (full bridge).
Results:
-No IPROP current measurements. Expected to have V(IPROP) proportional to the output current.
-The VREF pin input seems to have a low impedance.
The IPROP should be zero based on the example below.
Defined on the datasheet, the IPROP senses the current flowing by the low side mosfet.
Thus, IPROP should be zero.
In case of:
OUT1 shorted to Ground, the only protection mechanism is the Overcurrent protection (OCP).
OUT1 shorted to VM (Battery): the current should be limited by VREF and VIPROP.

The IPROPI by design only measures the sum of the currents from the low-side FETs as described in the datasheet:

The model provide by TI is incorrect. Please, let us know if TEXAS will fix it.

however I understand that Texas Instruments will not release a new version. Maybe TI should remove the incorrect model available since it can leave the customers to incorrect conclusions.
