My customer has been using our DRV8837 in their locks for quite a while. They’ve recently changed some materials of the lock from metal to plastic. To help improve the durability and reduce the noise of the new lock, customer would like to know if we have any motor driver that can support soft start feature. If not, they would like to hear from us how to resolve the application issue of the new product. The situation is their existing design is using an GPIO of the MCU and sending high/low signal to control the motor driver. The MCU didn’t have PWM support.
