MCF8316AEVM: SOX testpoint on eval board inoperable

I tried reading out the motor currents through the SOX pin of the MCF. For this I connected to the testpoint marked as DACOUT2/SOX on the MCF8316AEVM. However, I could not get any signal out of it.

Upon inspection of the board's provided schematics, I noticed that the DACOUT2/SOX testpoint is connected to pin 36 of the MCF, which is marked as "NC" in its datasheet.
This testpoint should be connected to pin 38 instead.

I recommend adding this information to the MCF8316AEVM user guide and to also fix the hardware to properly connect to the MCF.

In the meantime, if anyone requires the SOX signal, one has to use the DACOUT2/X2 testpoint instead.

    Thanks for providing your feedback and apologies for the confusion.

    The PCB was designed for both the MCT8316A, which has DACOUT functions on pins 36 and 37, and the MCF8316A, which has NC pins.

    I've submitted an internal ticket to update the EVM user's guide with this information.
