Hi,
I'm reaching out as I am trying to test out a DRV8316EVM using a MSPM0G1306 launchpad rather than the TMS320F280049C launchpad as specified in the user guide.
1) I was wondering if the pinout of these two launchpads was similar enough to simply replace the C2000 with the MSPM0 board? Or would it required individual wiring to connect the DRV8316 to the M0?
2) If it is not possible to overlay the boards for connections, I assume the best way to determine the necessary connections would be to use example code with the C2000, and figure out what pins are actively used in the setup. To access these DRV files I've seen previous posts suggesting to download the C2000 SDK and the “drv8316revm.zip” solution folder: 3782.drv8316revm.zip. Is this the best way to figure out what connections must be manually jumpered together?
Alternatively, are there different resources or source code you could suggest for using the MSPM0 with the DRV8316?
