DRV8234EVM: Online GUI

Hi -

Customer trying to use online GUI for both the DRV8234EVM and DRV8242H-Q1EVM. They can use downloadable GUI without issue, but web GUI problematic. They think it may have to do with the company IT firewalls.

Any ideas on what they can try?

Hey Tyler,

For the DRV8234, First make sure they're using the latest GUI link: https://dev.ti.com/gallery/view/MotorDriversBSM/DRV821x_DRV823x-EVM-GUI/ and perform File, Program Device to update the firmware on the board.

Then can you describe what issues they're having? If the GUI won't connect to the GUI they can check out this FAQ I wrote: https://e2e.ti.com/support/motor-drivers-group/motor-drivers/f/motor-drivers-forum/1343296/faq-why-won-t-my-motor-driver-evm-connect-to-the-gui

But it certainly could be IT firewalls. If the downloadable GUI works for them then they can just use that, it should be identical to the web version. To download the dev.ti.com/.../ In the past I've also just used a personal computer at home without IT firewalls to use software like this.
