Good day!
My customer is using DRV8462 and encounter some issue regarding with 0x00 register. Every time to read 0x00, always read back 0xC0 value, which means are 1. I attached SPI logic as below. From waveform, customer wrote 0x4000 to read 0x00 register, and read back C0C0. It's weird that B8~B13 are all 0 but B6 and B7 are 1. How does this happen?

The register with 0x00 as its address is the is the FAULT register. B6 and B7 are the FAULT and SPI_ERROR registers respectively.
Since both are 1 no matter what the user tries, it is likely that there is the SPI protocol error as described above. Solving that and issuing a clear fault command should solve the problem. Let me know if this doesn't help.
