Hi dear Haptics team,

One of my customers is interested in a haptic driver like the DRV8601.

Are there similar driver with “Error detection”?

Limiting factors are space (DSBGA package or CSP, the smaller the better), Low Power, and cost.

    Hi Miriam,

    Are they trying to drive a LRA/ERM for haptics? If so, I suggest the DRV2624 or DRV2625. These are the newest, smallest, and lowest power haptic drivers for LRA/ERMs. I'm not sure what you mean by error detection, but they can detect open or short circuits on the outputs.
