DRV8711EVM: Recommended Power Supply for DRV8711EVM using ACT 23HS8430

What is a good spec on how much current is required for this dev kit.  I am using a 24V source voltage and would like to know how much current is required to drive the ACT 23HS8430 that is supplied with the kit.

    I believe the rated current of the motor is 3 A. The current required from your supply will be much lower than that. The DRV8711 will regulate the current in the motor to the full-scale current setting, and most of the current will come from the capacitor on the board.
