LM629: obsolete component?

Part Number: LM629

Hi

Question1: does the LM629N6  dip version becomes  obsolete ??

Question2: does it exist other ic like LM629n6 ?

Question3: does the LMD18200t   becomes  obsolete ??

best regards

  • Hello Sidhoum,

Question1/2: We are in the process of obsoleting the PDIP packages of the LM628 devices. Right now we are offering a lifetime buy opportunity. You can purchase whatever quantity of devices you need for the lifetime of your product. However, we will discontinue offering the PDIP packages sometime in the next year. Page 30 or Addendum-Page 1 in the datasheet shows which packages are available.

Question2: Currently the orderable part number LMD18200T has the status of NRND (not recommended for new design). It is not obsolete yet, but we will offer a lifetime buy before obsoleting it. The LMD18200T/LF14 and LMD18200T/NOPB orderable part numbers are still listed as "Active," so we are not currently planning to obsolete them.
