DRV777: COM Voltage Spec Clarification

I am needing to drive a 12V unipolar stepper motor. The datahseet states that the COM voltage is recommended at max 16V, but Figure 4 on Page 7 illustrates an example of driving a unipolar stepper motor suggested a voltage no higher than 8V on the COM. Could I get some clarification on the ambiguity.

    Hi Dmitry,

    VCOM can be as high as 16V, as described in the Recommended Operating Conditions.

    Figure 4 is an example motor voltage. There are other voltage examples such as Page 9 "DRV777 can be used for driving 3V, 5V and 12V relays with similar implementation."
