Hi Team,
When using the DRV8833C, use MCU to control IO, and output to AIN1 and AIN2. AIN1 is a PWM wave (50Khz frequency, 50% duty cycle), and AIN2 is 0V. Test with a multimeter, the waveform between AIN1 and AIN2 is correct.
However, measuring the AOUT1 and AOUT2 waveforms, 1s has a PWM wave, 1s is 0, and the loop displays.
The customer wants to know why the waveform between AOUT1 and AOUT2 is not a continuous PWM waveform?
Thanks.
Hi Annie,
Please see Table 1 of the datasheet.
AOUT1 is toggling between H and Z. AOUT2 is toggling between low and Z.
When PWM'ing one input and holding the other input high or low, only one output should PWM.
