Hi, Ushijima-san,
The DRV2605 output voltage is configured with the RATED_VOLTAGE and OD_CLAMP registers.
http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/drv2605.pdf#page=42
I recommend to reduce these parameters in order to reduce the output voltage level too.
I hope this helps you. Please let me know if you have additional questions or comments.
Best regards,
Luis Fernando Rodríguez S.
Hi, Ushijima-san,
Could you provide your DRV2605 schematic portion, please? This is to have a better approach to this issue.
In addition, are you configuring the device in closed-loop or open-loop? Which load are you using as DRV2605 output?
Thank you.
Best regards,
Luis Fernando Rodríguez S.
Ushijima-san,
Unfortunately, we are not able to access to google drive due to internal politics. Could you share your schematic in this forum or via e2e chat, please?
Could you also share your registers configuration?
Do you have details about the load that you are using? Any datasheet?
Thank you.
Best regards,
Luis Fernando Rodríguez S.
Hello Fernando
I will get the information registered in drv2605. Please wait.
I would like to know whether if I can use step down converter IC TPS62510(http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tps62510.pdf) after drv2605 output.
Please advice me.
Best Regards,
Daisuke

I figured out the value based on your configuration tool... It's very hard to dump all of the registered value. Please understand.
Please let me know if you have any solution to setup 1.5V by drv2605 configuration value. And advice me if we can add step down convertor and how to make a schematic with it.
Best Regards,
Daisuke
Hi, Daisuke,
Thank you for providing the schematic and attaching the configuration tool. Effectively, this tool is really useful to configure the DRV2605 with the values that you requested. Your schematic is correct, so using the proper values provided by the tool should be enough to get the overdrive and rated voltage that you are looking for.
Regarding you question about the step down converter, this device should be connected directly to the actuator. Its architecture has been designed to monitor the actuator characteristics. Using an external component between the DRV2605 output and the actuator may cause a bad signal performance.
Best regards,
