hello

The FET on DRV8305-Q1 EVB is CSD18540Q5B (Rds=3.3mOhm), I want to use automotive FET, I found CSD85301Q2(Rds=23m Ohm) part number.

The current of my motor is 200mA with peak of 3.5A for 5msec

What will be the impact on the system operation?

Thanks for posting on the MD forum!

I cannot recommend changing the FETs on the EVM as this board was designed to work with the higher voltage FETs and their lower RDSON.

If you are designing your own board using the different FETs then we would be happy to review your design before you send this for manufacturing.

In general, using these different FETs will change your maximum motor voltage and the VDS monitors will need to be adjusted for your changed RDSON.
