Hi team,

My customer only have 12V PWM input in their system, do you have any advice if we need to use DRV8876N?

Or maybe you have another device that could support 12V logic input?

Since the input pin's parasitic capacitance is small. A resistor divider can bring the input voltage down. For example: Rtop=10k; Rbottom-5k, this resistor divider can bring 12V to 4V.

Hi Wang,

Actually the PWM signal is from UJA1023, I don't know if this resistor divider would have any risk for the applications.

Could you please share your minds for this?

James,

UJA1023 output current capability is small. They need to check it to see if it can drive the resistor divider.

If UJA1023 cannot drive it, we don't have solution for it.
