Hello,

the regulation of the rise and fall times of the MOSFETs by the DRV8718 looks very nice.

How fast does the regulation loop needs and how can I make sure that the regulation loop is stable ?

    Hi Luc,

    The slew rate control is a closed loop implementation. Section 8.3.4 of the datasheet goes into the details, but does not touch on loop speed specifically.  I suspect the feedback and control is analog (continuous), synchronized with the PWM input(s).
