DRV8876: DRV8876PWPR Lead Oxidized/Discolorations

Hi, one of the customers raised up questions on the observed discoloration on the component leads; majority discoloration was on the top of the leads:

- Is it caused by the manufacturing make/processes?

- or is it due to poor temperature/humidity control in the storage environment? since date code is new 2109

- Will these parts need to be re-tinned prior of reflowing/using them on the boards?

I got the comment from our packaging engineer:

"The reason for the leadframe to look like this on the top of the leads is because the device uses a top-side roughened leadframe (4214702-0002). This means that there is roughening only on the top side, so that will be visible on the leads as well. Completely normal and the device will work as intended!
