how to choose the  Capacitance of  the VM pin if drive current is 1.5A and Locked rotor current is 800mA? thanks.

    Hi Yue,

    Two points:

    1. On Section 5: Pin Configuration and Functions, you can see that VM is recommended to have a local bypass capacitor of 0.1 uF to ground.

    2. For bulk capacitance. Section 9.1 gives you general guidelines to follow for how what to consider to determine your system bulk capacitance. At a minimum, we recommend 10uF of bulk capacitance and places as close to the device as possible.
