DRV8837C: Question if Violate Output Fall Time Specifications of the DRV8837C

Hi Sirs,

Is there side effect if we violate the fall time specification (for example, when the fall time faster than 20ns or slower than 188ns)?
Should we add a small cap at output pins if the fall time is faster than 20ns?

Wayne,

DRV8837C has integrated FETs. So, you cannot speed up the falling time at the same test condition.

Some application circuits may add a small capacitor at output to eliminate the noise that may slow down the falling time. If the output capacitor doesn't cause the OCP or thermal issue, it should be OK.
