on of our customers plans to use DRV8835. At the moment, they put together the FMEA and need guidance.
VM and VCC of DRV8835 are both tied together to Vsupply (3.1V up to 4.1V).
What kind of failures could occur within the device that might affect the logic pins? If such failure occurs, what is the maximum voltage that might be output at the logic pins?
Is there an isolation barrier between the logic and the logic pins?
If any voltage of >=3.6V can occur, do you have any suggestion how to limit it?
Main concern is that the MCU controlling DRV8835 will be subject to a voltage level that might damage it.
