Hello
My customer is using DRV10987 in I2C mode.
When using the Sleep function in I2C mode, should the Speed pin be controlled unconditionally?
Can sleep function be used when speed pin is high?
Best regards.

Hi Louis,
Thanks for posting your question in MD forum. When using sleep function in I2C mode, speed pin need not be controlled as the device will override the speed pin by reading the I2C speed command. Just make sure SpdCtrl[8:0] is programmed as 0 and the OverRide bit in register address 0x30 is set to 1.

Vishnu.
Hi Vishnu
Thanks for your support
I tested the DRV10987D with your comment.
However, the current does not drop to 48uA in Sleep Mode.
How do I reduce the sleep current to 48uA?
Best regards
Hi Louis,
Can you check the device marking? 10987D is sleep version. 10987S is standby version.

Vishnu.
