Hi Team,

Below is a picture of the chip.

As soon as the customer's board is connected to 12V_gvdd, the otw light will be on. After 24_pvdd is powered on, resetab is connected to high level, and the working mode is mode 4. Pass pwm signal to pwmA_1, the fault light is on at this time. The voltage at the chip output outa, b (without load) is 12.4V, changing the pwm signal, the output of the chip has no response, the chip does not generate heat.

Customers refer to the schematic diagram of the official EDA test board.

Annie,

I see some very large capacitors (47uf) on the output lines before the motor connections. This high of capacitance can cause an OCP event.

Can you try removing all of these capacitors from output to GND and test again?

Hi Ryan,

On his board, he did not solder the four capacitors (47uf). But it still has no response.

I see some other capacitors as well on the outputs, 0.68uF. These may not be a problem, but let's remove ALL capacitors from the outputs for now as a test.

Also, is the customer using a heatsink on top of the DRV8432? This is important to ensure the DRV8432 stays cool.
