DRV8353: DRV 8353 will detect any error if sensor is not working?

I have the application for BLDC motor Drive and I am planning to use DRV 8353S.As per the Datasheet 1x PWM Mode Hall sensor input connecting to the Smart Driver pin(INLA = HALL_A, INHB = HALL_B, INLB = HALL_C) and TI 1XPWM mode tutorial video described the Hall sensor connection to MCU Pin. so I have confused that where I need to connect Hall sensor input (MCU or Smart Gate Driver ) ?

In summary, if you like the six step trapezoidal commutation outlined in Table 3 of the datasheet, then use Figure 23 which will directly connect the hall sensors to the DRV8353.
While the video is valid, it is strictly referring to the DRV8305, which doesn't have the capability to connect the hall sensors directly to the device.
TI continued to develop the algorithm and repurpose (i.e. MUX or multiplex) the input PWM pins to accept the input PWM pins to accept the hall inputs when PWM_MODE = 10b or MODE Pin = Hi-Z. This is illustrated by the diagram below in Figure 23.
To reiterate, Figure 22 only applies when user wants to blindly commutate without and feedback from the hall sensors, or the user wants to route the hall sensors to the GPIOs of the MCU (like you saw for the DRV8305). Sometimes users want to do this when they want to develop more complex hall commutation intelligence outside of the scope outlined in Table 3. Synchronous 1x PWM Mode of the datasheet, but a majority of users find that they can directly connect the hall sensors to the input of the DRV8353.
A "more complex hall commutation intelligence" would example would be a hall sensor with differential hall outputs (6 wires instead 3 dedicated hall outputs) where the MCU needs to convert the signals to single ended output as shown in the diagram.
