LM340: LM340AT-5.0/NOPB

Part Number: LM340

Hi experts,

We bought these from TI E-Store. There were no notifications of any sort on public domain that TI mixes date-code for your products.

Please confirm:

1. if there's notification letter to share.

2, if these are safe to use and

3. if we come across such cases on other part#, should we raise the alarm?

Thank you.

  • Shawn,

The sticker attached shows that this lot was manufacture in our AT site in Malaysia and packed on 9/08/2020. All TI parts are shipped with the sticker as attached to allow us with traceability. You could also look up the symbol on the part which should be as below.

  • Hi Prakash, thanks for the explanation. However the point I want to make here is there's 2 D/C observed in a reel.
Is this a common practice in TI?

  • Shawn,

When reels have more than 1 DC they will be listed in the "ITEM:" area in YM format.
