LM2670: Input & Output Capacitor Selection

The capacitors recommended in the datasheet have a large footprint. Would I be able to use Ceramic Capacitors instead since they have both lower footprint and lower ESR?

    Hi Mina,

    This is an older device and requires the ESR for stability. It is recommended to use the capacitors listed in the datasheet. 

    You may want to consider a device like LMR33630 or other device if a smaller solution size is needed.
