TPS51275: Two output voltage regulation

I see TPS51275 has two output control, and I want use it to output 5-V/3-A in both two channels.

My question is :

(1) Why the datasheet shows the output voltage is 5 V in channel 1, and is 3.3 V in channel 2? Can't I regulate the two output voltage by feedback resistor divider?

(2) Will two 5-V/3-A output affect two LDO outputs in VREG5 (5-V) and VREG (3.3-V)?

Hi Alex,

(1) No. It can't support two 5V rail with its definition. As shown in the first page of datasheet, the adjustable range of output voltages are +/-10% based on 5V and 3.3V.

(2) That's not the recommended working condition for this device, so we can't guarantee the performance. For two fixed 5V output rail, you can choose two TPS51395/TPS51395P converters for up to 24V Vin. If input is 12V rail, TPS566231/TPS566238 is recommended for lower cost.
