TPS54429: Enable threshold of TPS54429

Dear team,

Could you help to confirm VIH of EN pin?

In device datasheet, the minimum of VIH is 2V. But we test on our board, device is enable once EN voltage level higher than 0.77V.

And I find an E2E post, the EN threshold is around 0.7V~1.1V.

Could you let me know actually enable threshold? thanks.

Hi Ben,

In device datasheet, the minimum of VIH is 2V which means that when EN voltage exceeds 2V, the device is enabled. However, if the voltage is less than 2V, it is still possible that the chip will work. Thus, device that is enabled once EN voltage level higher than 0.77V is reasonable.

Hi Ben,

Yes, it is possible lower than 0.77V. EN threshold values of different devices are different. It's not sure about minimum EN high threshold. But It can be ensured that the device will be enabled when EN exceeds 2V.
