TPS61163: only one channel of TPS61163 can work

Hi team,

My customer use TPS61163 in their mobile phone project and they use dual channel. When connecting the screen, only one channel work. Only reset the device, dual channels can return to work. Do you have any idea about this issue? Is there any protections that will turn off only one channel? Thanks.

Hi Yuting,

Could you help to describe more about the situation for 'connecting the screen'? Do you mean that device is working without load firstly then hot connecting the screen? I am confused what is different between abnormal condition and reset condition.

Sorry for late reply.

The phone screen is turned off first. Changing another screen and turn on it. Only one channel led is on and the other is off. That is abnormal condition. When resetting the TPS61163 by EN pin, both channels are on. This issue can't be repeated every time. Thanks.

Hi Yuting,

So that during switching the screen, the EN of TPS61163 is stay off and re-powered after screen connected right? And how about the off channel, is it always one specific channel or 2 channel randomly happen?
