UCC27524A1-Q1: Is gate-source voltage equal to VDD to GND voltage?

Part Number: UCC27524A1-Q1

Hi team,

Is gate-source voltage equal to VDD to GND voltage?

Regards,
Ochi

  • Ochi-san,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    -------

Assuming the driver output is fully on:

V_GS will be very close to the V_DD voltage assuming they are both measured to GND.  (i.e. the Source of the FET is also GND)
    -------

There will be a very small voltage drop from V_DD to V_OH due to the internal driver FET pulling the output high.  The MAXIMUM value of the this drop is given in the Electrical Characteristics section of the datasheet.

Therefore, the maximum difference between V_DD and V_GS is 0.075V.

I hope this answers your question!  If so, please press the green button, otherwise feel free to follow up!
