UCD9081: UV/OV Threshold

Hi,

1. What is the recommended for choosing the UV/OV Threshold?

2. Suppose I have a 2 power supplies with 1.0V and 3.3V, is the UV/OV Threshold need to be according the present % like 5% UV and 5% OV or like 150mV_UV and 150mV_OV or like the load recommended voltage or like the load absolute maximum voltage for both power supplies? 

It can be a problem if I set the sequencer for shutdown without to choosing the right UV/OV parameters.

Please help me to understand if there is a rules about it.

    Hi

    It is really up to what's your system tolerance or design spec? Typically, we see +/-15% of nominal value for OV/UV respectively. But you may check your product spec to device at which level, you need shutdown the power to protect the system.

    Thanks, and what are your recommended time for: "out of Reg Time [ms]" and "Max Time for Regulation [ms]"?

    Hi 

    There is no recommend value for these and they are purely based on each design. 

    out of reg time: is kind of a glitch filter. It means that if the voltage is out of the defined window, how long does your design can tolerate?

    Max Time for Regulation: is mean how long you design can wait before the voltage is within the defined window.
