    Hi Sowmiya, 

    Yes you can use the BQ24072T. The only difference between this part and your current part, the BQ24072, is how the NTC thermistor connected to TS pin is applied power. For the BQ24072 a current source drives the NTC thermistor, whereas for the BQ24072T a voltage source drives the thermistor. The end result is the same, however the voltage source on the BQ24072T provides more temperature range flexibility by connecting the thermistor and the TS pin to the center tap of an external resistor divider network.

    Refer to figure 33 in the BQ24072T data sheet for an example application which illustrates the TS pin connections (SLUS937C).
