Dear,

We are using TI LMR14030-Q1 package HSOIC-8 . Pin No 6 soft start we connected 2.2nF, SMD ceramic capacitor, Recommended capacitor greater than 8.2nF. . can we change capacitor value to 10nF

Yes, you can change to 10nF, the softs start time will slightly increase.

hi ,

if we will continue with same capacitor 2.2nF. will it effect functioning of IC or output voltage or inbuilt MOSFET.

hi,

2.2nF capacitor will not effect IC. but what will effect to over all system. Is any over shoot in output voltage , Is any over shoot in inductor current, Is any over shoot in schottky diode current used for Freewheeling diode. what will happen at transient voltages.
