TPS92513: About LED dimming circuit of TPS92513 / TPS92512

Part Number: TPS92513
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS92512, , TPS61165

As shown in Figure 3 of SLVA419B in the application note
I want to change the LED current by supplying a variable Vref via R1.
Is it okay to use this method with TPS92513 / TPS92512?
When I actually tried it on the evaluation board, it worked as expected, so I think it's okay, but I'm checking it just in case.

Initially, I was thinking of supplying a variable voltage of 0 to 1.8V to the IADJ to change the LED current.
However, when checking on the evaluation board, when a variable voltage is applied to the IADJ,
The linearity of the relationship between IADJ voltage and LED current was not good and it did not go according to the calculation,
so I decided that it could not be used.

When I tried the method of Figure 3 of SLVA419B this time, the linearity was good and it worked as calculated,
so I am thinking about the circuit of Figure 3 of SLVA419B.
