Hi,
Typically the TPS65185's ability to support certain displays will depend on the display's current requirements. Is this something you can share for the E-ink Mobius?
Thanks,
Gerard
Maximum currents of the selected display are provided :
Positive supply VPOS pin, current = 200mA ; At negative supply VNEG pin, current = 199.14mA ; At positive charge pump VDDH_D, current = 0.99mA; At negative charge pump VEE_D, current = 17.13mA; Main input current = 19.53 mA.
Could you please check and confirm whether this current requirements of display match with the selected PMIC

Hi,
Thank you for providing the current specs. Unfortunately the max negative charge pump current for TI's E-ink PMICs is 15 mA (TPS651851), and this will not be able to support this panel's VEE_D requirement of 17.13 mA.
Thanks,
Gerard
Thank you for your reply. Instead of maximum current, current range is shown below. Could you please check.
Positive supply VPOS pin, current = 1.44mA - 200mA ; At negative supply VNEG pin, current = 1.46mA - 199.14mA ; At positive charge pump VDDH_D, current = 0.88mA - 0.99mA; At negative charge pump VEE_D, current = 1.38mA - 17.13mA; Main input current = 8.99mA - 19.53 mA.
Could you please check and confirm whether this current requirements of display match with the selected PMIC
Hi,
The max VEE_D current is still 17.13 mA, correct?
If so, the assessment still stands - the PMIC charge pump cannot support this rail because the maximum output current is 15 mA.
Thanks,
Gerard
