LMZ14202H: is it possible to generate 26.5Vout from 28Vin ?

HI,

I designed 26.5 V output from 28 V Input by LMZ14202HTZ.

Most samples worked normally, but some samples failed to generate 26.5 voltages.

This happens as the temperature increases.

What I am curious about is that it is not appropriate to force design 1.5V with LTZ14202H.

It should not support such high output voltage, for 28Vin, 26.5V, I suggest you can use converter like LMR33620 or LMR36520 to make the circuit.

I have one more question.

There is no specification for minimum dropout voltage in a datasheet of LMZ14202H, so can you tell me how much difference should LMZ14202H be made between input and output voltage ?

in the datasheet 8.2.2.1.6 , it mentioned the min off time is 260ns, so if you set larger on time, you will get higher duty. which will make the drop voltage between Vo and Vin lower.

and LMZ14202 Rdson will also impact the drop votlage.
