TPS56C20: spec check

Hi,

TPS56C20 can't support higher Vout.

Is that okay to use TPS56C230 without I2C?

Recommend to use TPS56C230 since it is 12A part so as to leave some margin for this 10A application.

Under Eco mode light load, the output ripple will exceed 1%*Vout. I also double checked the bench test results under 7.4Vin-5Vout-500KHz-0.001A-1.8uH inductor-47uF*4 Cout, the output ripple on bench was 75mV. So that the alert is correct if customer used the default setup. If the light load output ripple can be acceptable, there is no affect. If customer wants to get better output ripple even under light load, recommend to use FCCM.
