UCC12040: UCC12040 not using SYNC

Part Number: UCC12040

Hi Support Team,

Regarding UCC12040, I would like to know the following questions:

Where do I connect the SYNC and SYNC_OK pins when not using SYNC?

Thanks so much.

Best regards,
Yuki

  • Yuki,

SYNC_OK is an open drain used to indicate when an externally applied SYNC signal has fallen outside the 14.4MHz<16MHz<17.6MHz synchronization limits. If you are not applying an external SYNC signal, the SYNC_OK is unused  and therefore you can simply connect SYNC and SYNC_OK to GNDP.
