Dear team,
For this device, there is no output capacitor required. If the customer wants to add capacitors to reduce noise, is there a maximum capacitor limit?
Thanks & Best Regards,
Sherry

Hi Ben,
Thanks for your reply!
Is there any bad impact with larger output capacitor?
Thanks & Best Regards,
Sherry
It may have impact on the transient response/start up time. what is the application and key concerns? if necessary post on internal forum or connect by email for further details.
Hi Ajay,
Thanks for your reply! The customer wants to add some output capacitors to make output voltage more stable. Therefore we want to know whether we have maximum limit.
Thanks & Best Regards,
Sherry
Hi Sherry,
The best bet is to have the customer do a transient load step test and see if the output is stable. The stability depends on different voltage, current, how the shunt is configure and output capacitor. It is difficult to provide a set value of output capacitance when there are other factors involved.
