TPS51215A: High Iout condition and Rtrip range on Elkhart Lake power supply

Part Number: TPS51215A

One customer is need 42A current on VCCIN supply for Elkhart Lake, TPS51215A datasheet is described 30A max.

But below E2E thread is described OK to use 42A.

Please let me know about three points below for 42A current condition;

・Firstly, is TPS51215A recommend and guarantee 42A current condition?

　If no, please let me know the matched parts number. (Vout need to set 0V,1.10V,1.65V,1.8V)

・Is there any condition for match the 42A current?

　Is it OK to match the FET specification?

・What is the recommend range of R_TRIP resistance value?

　When I_OCL set high current, R_TRIP value become large.

As I mentioned in previous thread, since 51215a is a controller and the challenge for 42A application is FET and L/C selection rather than 51215a itself.

we only have this part to the four VIDs you listed. For OCL setting, there is Vtrip range shown in EC table, you can base on the application request and Vtrip range to set the OCL.
