LMG1210: Alternative device to LMG1210

Hi Team,

Our customer implemented wireless power charging which is operating at 27.12MHz using LMG1210. They are looking for an alternative device to LMG1210 due to supply shortages. Do we have any other GaN half-bridge drivers or have discrete drivers that can together synchronously drive a half-bridge at 27.12MHz? Could they use LMG1205 or two LMG1020 for this application?

Hi Danilo,

Thanks for your question. To drive a half-bridge they can use LMG1205 as an alternative. The switching frequency that they can achieve actually depends on the power dissipated by the device, which can be estimated based on their switching frequency, FET used and their ambient temperature. See datasheet section 8.2.2.3 Power Dissipation for details to calculate it. It is a different package though so please make customer aware of that.
