LM4051-N: equation and simulation differences

Part Number: LM4051-N

Hello,

I am having an issue with LM4051-ADJ.

I attached my simulation in PSpice with included equation from datasheet and their results.

Link to the model I used in my simulation.

LM4051_ADJA1P212 Unencrypted PSpice Transient Model

Information form datasheet:

Link to the datasheet:

LM4051-N Precision Micropower Shunt Voltage Reference datasheet (Rev. D) (ti.com)

For assumed values:

R1 = 10k

R2 = 42.2k

The result of the equation included below is different from the simulation result.

I noticed that if the resistors in equation switch place (V0 = (1+R2/R1)*Vref) I received the result that match my simulation.

I think there are two possible reasons:

  1. There is a mistake in datasheet
  2. The model is not correct

Could you please give me insight into this matter?

Thanks,

Alen
