TPS7H1101A-SP: PCL Resistor Computation

Part Number: TPS7H1101A-SP

Hi Team, seeking for some clarification.

In the equation of Rpcl, can we consider the Icl as our load current since it is the programmable load limit?

Thank you.

  • Mark,

Icl represents the current at which the device will current limit.

So, some margin from normal load to programmable current limit should be used to insure it does not current limit under normal load.

In addition, the min/max variation on the CSR must be taken into consideration.
