TPS6521815: Non-Volatile NVM PMIC options

Part Number: TPS6521815
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65217, TPS65216, TPS65218, TPS650861

Hi -

I'm looking for a PMIC that has:

  • at least 3 Buck outputs with voltage ranges from 0.6V to 3.3V, output currents in the range of 2-3 Amps.
  • at least 1 LDO output at 1.8V

I'd like it to be non-volatile in that I can program the characteristics (output votlage values, etc.) once and then no longer requires an external interface to control it.

I had difficulty using the filtering to find this configuration.

Can TI recommend the closest thing you offer?

Thanks,

Tom

  • Hi,

I'm happy to assist here. Based on the output voltage/current requirements provided in the previous message, TPS650861 seems to be the right fit. We have other PMICs like TPS65216, TPS65218 and TPS65217 that have Buck regulators with adjustable output voltages but the current go up to ~1.8A.

The TPS650861 PMIC has a programming BoosterPack that allow our customers to program the NVM. Here is the link: BOOSTXL-TPS650861

I would also encourage visiting ti.com/diypmics to access more information on how to reprogram the internal memory of some of our PMICs to customize them for a specific application.

    Thanks,

    Brenda
