Hello friends.

I have a project that uses measuring ICs.
before, I used the bq27542 IC in the package. I can rewrite a new capacity design.

Now, I use bq27520-g4 in the system but I can't rewrite the new capacity design. I cannot access SEALED mode.

can anyone help me how to write a new power design for IC BQ27520-G4, please!

Hello,

The bq27520-G4 has similar interface and configuration as bq27542. You will follow the same steps.

Now, I can write data to flash of BQ27520-G4.
but I have a new problem.

The capacity of my battery is 1500mAh. when I write a new DesignCapacity =1500 mAh. after I re-read DesignCapacity() it is ok. but when I read

FullAvailableCapacity() register, the value of this register does not change (~1000mAh).
Please tell How to change the value FullAvailableCapacity() same as the DesignCapacity.

I use a BQ27520EVM KIT and STM32 connect over the I2C interface.

Hello Dai,

FullAvailableCapacity() is read only. It will be updated by the gauge automatically during operation.
