Hello,

we have purchased a BQ75614EVM-021 evaluation board and a USB2ANY adapter to evaluate the BQ75614 Battery Monitor IC for usage in our BMS products.

I installed the BQAutoEval GUI 1.0.4 to connect to the evaluation board. Unfortunately, the tool gives an error when connecting the USB2ANY adapter.

The tool suggested to update my USB2ANY adapter from version 2.8.2.0 to version 3.1.1.14, but the problem was not fixed by the firmware update.

Error text: "The interface named "customuart" in the system-info-file is not supported. Please remove this entry and try again."

Is there any solution to this problem? Thanks for your help!

I was able to solve the error by deinstalling the GUI Composer runtime and reinstalling the BQAutoEval GUI with runtime again.

Apparently an older version of the runtime was already installed on my machine and the BQAutoEval GUI setup did not install the correct version. The problem is solved for me.
