TPS54228: Power Section Review

Hi,

Could you please support me to review power section. we used single channel buck converter output of 3.3V @ 1.3A. Kindly provide your comments asap.

Meanwhile we have used LDO output of 1.2V @ 100mA. kindly review that too and provide your comments.

Hello Dineshkumar,

For the feedback circuit, it looks good, I am just not sure what the feedforward capacitor value you have. The value in the schematic is fuzzy is fuzzy, so I can read it for sure. It is recommended to be 5 to 22pF.

For the Inductor, the inductor saturation current rating must be greater than the calculated peak Current using equation 6 in the datasheet, and the RMS or heating current rating must be greater than the calculated RMS current using equation 7.
