Hi team,

This is Andy, FAE of Inspur Group.

At a new project, my customer use our TPS82130 power for CPU PCIe card.

Vout 0.85V, Iout 2.11A. FB Voltage divider resistance is 4.7k and 300ohom;

I see at datasheet of TPS82130 recommend Vout is 0.9V~6V, and the FB is 0.8V

So I want to confirm the customer's settings to output 0.85V, what are the risks? Is it can be acceptable?

Hi Andy,

No, please follow datasheet for 0.9V min output voltage. We can not guarantee the performance outside the datasheet spec. What is your output current.? We recommend TPS62903 for min 0.6V output. If your output current is less than 1A, we have next generation converter TPS629210-Q1 and TPS629210 in the web. The device and EVM are available now. Please take a look.

Hello Andy,

It is NOT recommended to operate the device below 0.9V. The device is not designed to go below the recommended operating conditions.

Hi Nancy,

The Iout is 2.11A, power for a CPU power rail.

Customers care about the area, so they want to use the power module, do you have medium voltage modules that can support 0.85V output recommend?
