Hi,
The design looks basically ok, except there should be a capacitor from COMP to GND.
In any case, why do you use this older, larger device? The TPS62825A family or TPS628502 family, for example, are much smaller and easier to design with and more efficient. They also have a PG output.
Thanks,
Chris
Our requirement is shown below.
Input : 3V - 4V
Output : 1.25V,2A
based on the part availability, we selected the part. Please suggest new a new part with the same specifications and availability.
Thanks for explaining.
By availability, do you mean that it has stock today (I see 371 units on ti.com right now) or did you already order some units? Stock is changing by the minute in this market, so you should not rely on seeing some units unless you ordered them. As well, TPS5432 has no pin to pin alternative devices available, unlike the previous 2 devices I mentioned. So, there is more risk to not be able to get the exact part number you need, since there is only one part number. TPS62824/5/6/7A offer 8 pin to pin devices and TPS62850x offer 3.
The TPSM82822 and TPS62088 have > 1ku on ti.com right now and would also be better devices to use. The TPSM82822 is a power module, which integrates the inductor. So that is one less component for you to have to track down and procure.
