Interested in the substrate thickness between the top and layer 2 and if layer 2 is ground.

Hi, why do you want to know the thickness? the manufacturing file is not opening for customer, we can provide the data to you if needed. And you can find each layer information from EVM user guide.

Thanks for the quick response!

It's hard to tell from the EVM users guide if the second layer is ground? I believe it is.

If this is ground how far away is it from the top layer?

Brian, Correct, GND is implemented for both inner layers and no special requirement for the distance between top of and inner, commonly determined by customer self depends on board and copper thickness.

Brain, I checked EVM design, the space for top and inner1 is 6mil, FYI.
