Hello,

On the EVM EN_ICO, FORCE_VINDPM_DET are set to zero.

VAC1=6.5V, VBAT=3.54V , VSYSMIN=2.75V,VBUS=4.29V.

So VBAT>VSYSMIN and VBUS>VBUS_PRESENT.

VBAT_PRESENT_STATUS and VBUS_PRESENT_STATUS are set to 1.

VOC_DELAY=50ms VOC_RATE=30s.

I set EN_MPPT bit , VINDPM=6.3V.

Same test with VAC1=5.0V, VINDPM=6.0V.

It is the same VINDPM minimum value tas without MPPT.

Why this 6.0V minimum value?

Hello,

Can you please explain your conditions more? How do you have a VAC1 of 6.5 V and a VBUS of 4.29 V? What happens when you read the VINDPM register from the "Command Sequence" Tab of the Charger GUI?

Hi,

See my answer about VINDPM value displayed by the GUI which is not correct because limited to 6.0V minimum.

Reading REG6 by Command Sequence is correct.
