BQ24073: shipping mode

Dear Team,

Does BQ24073 have  shipping mode? 

Or I can control CE PIN pull High and enter shipping mode without VIN?

If VIN=0, VBAT is powered, will there be an output?
Or there must be have Vin?

    Hi Jimmy,

    The BQ24073 does not have a ship mode nor can it be implemented using external parts. If the CE pin is pulled high, the OUT voltage will remain high if either VIN or VBAT are present. 

    If able, the BQ24075, BQ24076, BQ24078, and BQ24079 can be used with some external components to achieve a shipmode. You can read more regarding that possibility here: https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/sluaa18
